The wedding this weekend was particularly special to us since the groom was my nephew! Steven and Brooke were married on the beautiful resort island of Galveston. The balmy weather, bright blue skies, palm trees, pristine white gazebo, and ocean vistas made a picturesque backdrop to their ceremony. The wedding was sweet and poignant, surrounded by close friends and family, and afterwards we all celebrated with them during their elegant dinner reception.
At the end of the day the couple was sent off amid a showering of ribbon wands and a classic chauffeured Bentley. Steven and Brooke, we love you both very much!
Michael & Stephanie chose the stunning Robert Carr Chapel on the grounds of TCU for their wedding ceremony. The gorgeous chapel with its vibrant red carpeting, white wooden pews, and elegant columns was an amazing backdrop for the ceremony. After their vows, we had a chance to shoot some wonderful images of the wedding party on the grounds of the chapel, and finished up with a private indoor shoot of the bride and groom. The reception was hosted at the historic Victory Arts Center, and featured charming details such as floral centerpieces in old Mason jars, white wrought-iron lanterns, and a family display of vintage wedding photos.
It was so much fun to work James’ and Kelsi’s wedding at Event 1013 in Plano, TX! The venue was an awesome antique building in downtown Plano with exposed brick walls and rough wooden beams. Kelsi’s dress was a fabulous, short and flirty, vintage-inspired lace frock and she paired it with gorgeous ruby pumps and jewelry. This intimate wedding was attended by a close group of friends and family, and they made us feel like one of them!
